October 25, 2007 Gary Moore accompanied by Dave Bronze (Bass guitar) and Darrin Mooney (Drums) played a concert at the London Hippodrome, playing a selection of Jimi Hendrix classics. The concert also featured a special guest appearance by Billy Cox (Bass and vocals) and Mitch Mitchell (drums). Concert recording was released under title "Blues for Jimi" on CD, Blu-ray and DVD ten years later, April 7, 2017.
One of songs Gary played was "Fire", one of most popular songs written by Jimi Hendrix, recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience in early 1967, frequently played it in concert by Jimi and his band.
