Rare video from TV Show in Belgium `67. "Hey Joe" is most popular of Hendrix hits. Please note that it was not written by Jimi.
Some people claim "Hey Joe" to be traditional song, other say it was Dino Valenti who wrote it.
It was first registered for copyright in in 1962 by Billy Roberts, folk singer, guitarist and harmonica player from California.

I was idly watching a thing about politics of the 60's to the inevitable backdrop of The Beatles (Beatles Decade on TV) when this, Hey Joe came on behind some black & white Vietnam War footage and it abruptly went up a notch. Very moving -- Jimi, the master of melancholy!
