On Friday 26, July, 2013 singer and songwriter JJ Cale died at the age of 74. His songs became hits for such artists as Eric Clapton and Lynyrd Skynyrd
Known for a relaxed blues style mixed with folk and jazz Cale released more than a dozen albums beginning with Naturally in 1972. For over 40-years long career Cale did only few interviews, rarely performed live.
For his 2006 collaboration album with Eric Clapton 2006 album "The Road to Escondido" J.J. won Greammy award for the Best Contemporary Blues Album Grammy category in 2008.
Cale's songs "Cocaine", "Call Me The Breeze", "After Midnight" are kind of hard-party anthems that defined rock for a long period of time.
