Shortly after death of legendary Tulsa blues singer and songs writer J.J. Cale, his long time friend Eric Clapton invited several notable artists to record tribute album "The Breeze (An Appreciation of JJ Cale)", released in July, 2014.
One of guest stars was John Mayer who performed the song "Magnolia" from J.J. 1971 album "Naturally".
Well, this short ballad was always among my favourite of JJ songs and must say that Mayer's version is great too, even if personally I'm not a big fan of Mayer.
