Rumores de la Caleta Op. 71, No. 6, subtitled "Malaguena" was originally composed by Isaac Albéniz for piano as 6th piece of the cycle The seven Recuerdos de viaje, Op. 71 (B 18). ALbeniz wrote this cycle in in 1886 and 1887, shortly after he and his young family moved to Madrid. Same like many other pino compositions by Albéniz, Rumores de la Caleta was transcribed for classical guitar by Spanish guitarist Miguel Llobet and recorded by such greats as Julian Bream and John Williams.
