Prelude from Sonata n. 5 in G major for lute by Silvius Leopold Weiss, one of most important and most profilic composers of lute music in history. Weiss was most technically accomplished lutenists of his day. About 850 pieces for lute by Weiss survived, mostly grouped into 'sonatas' or suites.
