Rafael Riqueni
Rafael Riqueni (born 1962 in Seville, Spain) has played guitar from a very young age. At 15 he was awarded the Ramón Montoya Prize in the Flamenco National Competion in Córdoba.

He has played for several cantaores and bailaores, including Enrique Morente, with whom he works regularly.
In 1987 recorded live "conservative" album entitled "Flamenco" without featuring any special effects nor the resources of a recording studio. He also recorded tribute album for the flamenco guitar masters (Esteban de Sanlúcar, Niño Ricardo and Sabicas).

Apart of flamenco related activity Rafael has worked with artists from outside the flamenco scene, like Anouar Brahem, Al Di Meola, Matías Fray and the Vargas Blues Band.
In 1999 Rafael published a book and video teaching the flamenco guitar.
