When I was 20, I graduated in Classical Guitar , under the guidance of the excellent Teacher, Soloist and Composer Eduardo Caliendo..
Ever since, despite my passion for music, my life's path led me to a job which is quite far away from the musical world...
In 2005 I met Roland Dyens, and invited him to play in Rome, Sorrento, Naples, Ravello...for the following years . Such friendship brought me to refresh and implement my guitar technique and to save some of my modest recordings for the "future" , on this beautiful web platform "Veojam".
I hope the watchers and listeners will be indulgent .....
All my videos are live home made recordings with no pretentious ideas, 95% of the musical works have just being read and not properly studied cause the short time available .
I can play on sunday only; therefore my nickname could well be : The Sundays Guitarist .

Roland Dyens passed away 3 years ago

It's been 3 years today from the day when Roland Dyens, one of the most important figures in the classical guitar world passed away due to lung cancer (he smoked cigarettes since he was a teenager). He died ten days after his 61st birthday.
Dyens was incredibly prolific...
