I'm here uploading one of my favourite pieces by JS Bach : it is a transcription of the SONATA BWV 1034 for flute and continuous bass, made by DAVID RUSSELL.
The original version of this composition by "Monsieur" Johann Sebastian Bach: was named under the title : Flute Sonata in E minor BWV 1034
in four Movements
I. Adagio ma non tanto
II. Allegro
III. Andante
IV. Allegro
The piece is largely believed to have been written during Bach's Köthen period (1717–23), when he was employed as Kapellmeister for Leopold, Prince of Anhalt-Köthen. However, there is some evidence that this may have been written slightly later, after Bach's move to Leipzig.
Many further version of this Sonata are available for for ensemble and flute .
Thank you for watching . I'm here playing my new Guitar "La Onda Crea" seven strings, made by Mario Gropp
