Signature composition by legendary Weather Report's bassist Jaco Pastorius. Jaco joined Weather Report during the recording sessions for Black Market (1976), and soon became a vital part of the band. Next year Wetaher Report released possibly their most important album "Heavy Wetaher" (vinyl record) through Columbia Records. "Teen Town" was 3rd track on Side One of record.

Originally formed as a quintet in 1970, Weathar Report was jazz-fusion band that combined jazz, rock into a funky and R&B, heavily infuenced by Miles Davis music. The core members of Weather Report were Joe Zawinul (keyboards), Wayne Shorter (sax) and Miroslav Vitouš (bass). Other important members who joined the band are Alphonso Johnson, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Bailey; Peter Erskine, Airto Moreira. signature Weather Report pieces are "Teen Town" and "Birdland", both strongly marked by charismatic bassist Jaco Pastorius.Weather Report was one of the most important band to the legacy of jazz fusion.
