Pat Metheny and his group performed it separately during Japan tour "We Live Here", recorded and released later on DVD. Another version Metheny recorded with Polish singer Anna Maria Jopek live in Warsaw, 2002. The song was included in an album called "Anna Maria Jopek and Pat Metheny Live in Warsaw 2002"

Pat Metheny is one of the most commercially successful instrumentalists in jazz. Metheny is that rare jazz musician who combines a pop-composer's instinct for an anthemic melody with a virtuoso ability to play extended spontaneous solos without repeating himself. By the 1980s, Metheny Group's albums hit million sales, usually unthinkable in jazz. He toured the world every year in the 80s and 90s, filling rock biggest venues. Metheny has also recorded music with with free-jazz pioneer Ornette Coleman, partnered post-bop stars including Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau and the late Michael Brecker, recorded collaborations with Charlie Haden, Jim Hall and Ron Carter. He also wrote Grammy-winning movie scores. Metheny won 20 Grammy Awards and is the only person to win Grammys in 10 categories.
