I simply caught the whole piece by ear and "eyes" , therefore
I put it down on paper and ... played it a few times... anyway it was so captivating that I recorded it ... music is here and now ...
Yamandu Costa Composed this music on a trip to the Paraguayan capital, Asuncion.
The Paraguayan traditions have strongly influenced the music of Yamandu.
This music shows a very strong desire to approach this region of South America, which is quite nearby Costa's homeland .
This piece sounds like the slow waters of a large amazonic river and brings to our mind the memories of another great Composer : Augustin Barrios Mangoré , who wrote so many masterpieces for guitar drawing on his indigenous Guarani roots and culture.
