-- Edoardo Bennato is an Italian artist and musician active since the early 70s.
Guitarist, harmonica player and singer, after a London experience he began to propose himself as a man orchestra playing at the same time, besides the guitar and harmonica, also the tambourines, the kazoo and other percussions. The influence of great rock (Dylan above all) and pop music immediately characterized his character and his music, in which, however, could not miss Mediterranean and Neapolitan influences.
His texts - especially those of the seventies - are often ironic and desecrating and scratchingly directed against power, at any level and in any form manifests itself.
