Wish You Were Here at Pompei

About 20 years ago I visited famous Pompeii ruins together with my wife. We were really impressed of most Pompeii buildings, but most of all - Pompeii Amphitheatre. It was hard to imagine that people built it over 2000 years ago. As most tourists we also peaked Mount Vesuvius and were shocked how vulcano could destroy completely a town located 8 km (5 miles) away. Another surprise for us was when we learned that Pompeii ruins were discovered about 1500 years after Vesuvius eruption!
At the time I already knew about Pink Floyd band, knew many of their songs, but didn't know about their 1971 concert at Pompeii, about the 1972 documentary featuring Pink Floyd performing at the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii. But in 2016 David Gilmour, Pink Floyd's guitarist and founding member was back to Pompeii to perform concert, July 7-8. This time I couldn't miss the album released in 2017. I bought Blu-ray Deluxe edition and I am really delighted to have it in my music library now.
