John Mayer payed tribute to legendary J.J. Cale who passed away in July this year.
The song "Call Me the Breeze" is one of most succesfull in J.J. carrer. It was first time released on 1972 J.J. Cale's debut album, Naturally and later was covered by many famous artists such as Johnny Cash, though best known is one made by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Now it's also in John Mayer's repertoire and was even released on his 2013 album " Paradise Valley"

Sorry, but I can't stand the manner that Mayer sings with, no matter how good his guitar playing is..

This is J.J. Cale song. Maybe not best cover, but I did like a lot how Mayer sang Magnolia on Clapton and Friends J.J. tribute album. Phenomenal guitarist, but also he can sing well ... at least from time to time.
