Yamandu Costa & Rogério Caetano - Odeon by Ernesto Nazareth

Our favourite Brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa with another virtuoso of the seven string guitar Rogério Caetano playing together "Odeon" composed by Brazilian composer and pianist Ernesto Nazareth.

Few words about Ernesto Júlio de Nazareth. He was born in Rio De Janeiro March 20, 1863 and took first piano lessons from his mother. Later he continued with Eduardo Moreira and American pianit/teacher Charles Lucien Lambert.
He released his frist composition Você Bem Sabe at age of 14. inspired by music of Polish composer Frederic Chopin. Soon he began his professional career playing in cafes, balls, society parties, etc.
In the following years he composed several tangos and in 1898 he ave his first public concert. Since 1908 In 1908, he was working as a pianist at the Mozart Club and was giving private piano lessons.
He died On February 5, 1934.
