Steve Vai about Ibanez Universe 7-string guitar

This guitar was an obsession for my best bud and I back in the day. Hearing it on that first Korn album blew me away. I remember when my buddy/bandmate scored his first 7 string and we recorded our first two metal albums with it.....this thing was Excalibur to us. So cool to see this retrospective and hear about how the 7 string came to be. I wish I had one, what a cool paint process. Most excellent contribution to the annuls of luthier history Steve, old boy!
