Blain, come on, not everyone can be a genius. Anyway I also find more pop than blues in Eric's performance.

Sweet of him to dedicate it to Stevie, but to be honest, there are barely 2 licks in the whole song that sound even remotely like Stevies blues-style.. and not one that does justice to the pure majesty and expert placement Stevie continuously put into each note.
