Berta Rojas - Idylle por Ida by John Duarte

Berta Rojas plays Idylle por Ida Op.93 written with the deep sadness for the passing of Ida Presti by John Duarte. Ida Presti was a French classical guitarist and composer. Presti was extremely gifted musically, her approach to the guitar was unique. She played to the right side of the nail, whereas most guitarists played to the left, and her right hand was not parallel to the bridge, the technique of guitarists of the Tárrenga school. Ida Presti died in New York, at the age of only 42 during a concert tour in the United States.
