In November 12, 2010 Keb' Mo' paid tribute to John Lennon at the 30th Annual John Lennon Tribute, Beacon Theatre, NYC. He performed "In My life" accompanied by Jack Petruzzelli - guitar, Pete Kennedy-- guitar, Tony Shanahan - bass, Kevin Bents - keyboards, Rich Pagano - drums.
Lennon claimed in later interviews that he wrote the whole of "In My Life", while McCartney claimed it was an equal collaboration.
Both cited this as one of the best Beatles songs. It was also one of George Harrison's favorites.
