El Colibri by Argentine guitarist and composer Julio Salvador Sagreras (1879 - 1942) performed by Chinese guitarist Xuefei Yang at BBC Proms In The Park 2018 on Titanic Slipways , Belfast. Sagreras was born to guitarists parents and started to perform concerts ar tvery early age of 6. Later he studied piano and composition and finally became a professor of guitar at the Académia de Bellas Artes. In 1905 he opened his own school, Academia de Guitarra. Sagreras released seven books that take the student from the beginner to the advanced stage of playing guitar, His most famous works for guitar include Maria Luisa (a mazurka), El Zorzal (Estilo), Violetas (Waltz), and the virtuosic El Colibri.
