Absinthe is the title of the latest record by guitarist Dominic Miller, released March 1st for ECM Records. Absinthe features a bigger sound, but with a similar impressionistic flavor as his debut record for ECM " Silent Light" released in 2017. As a resident of the south of France Millser has become fascinated with the French Impressionist painters, and music with impressionistic flavor and Argentinian influence dominates on his new record realized with a full quintet with a rhythm section.
