Musical/drama film "Crazy" (2007) is the story of a legendary guitar player Hank Garland, who emerged from Nashville in the 1950s. Garland quickly established his reputation as the finest sessions player in Nashville. As a session musician he recorded with such artists as Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline, The Everly Brothers, and Elvis Presley. He was also quickly recognized by jazz musicians like Dave Brubeck, Gary Burton, Joe Morello, and Joe Benjamin. In "Crazy" movie Hank Galand was casted by Waylon Payne Nashville actor. Steve Vai starred as Hank Williams and instrumental rock solo guitarist Tony MacAlpine starred as legendary Wes Montgomery.
Just watch the scene with Tony MacAlpine as Wes Montgomery. He looks and sounds great, don't you think?
