Farewell by Bent Fabricius-Bjerre

"Farewell " (Farvel) was composed for solo guitar by Bent Fabricius-Bjerre, known internationally as Bent Fabric, Danish pianist and composer. Bent Fabric came to fame for his 1961 instrumental "Omkring et flygel" ("Around a Piano") piece which became a hit in Denmark. The song was re-released worldwide under the name "Alley Cat" and became international hit in Australia, Germany ann in the United States. "Alley Cat" won a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Song.
"Farewell" was written exclusively and dedicated to Danish classical guitarist Kaare Norge.
