Born in Kiev (Ukraine), Nadja Kossinskaja started to play guitar at the age of 11. She studied at the Music College in Drogobych (Ukraine) in the subjects of guitar (concert and pedagogy) and conducting (orchestra). Nadja also obtained a diploma from the National University of Arts and Culture in Kiev with Prof. Victoria Zhadko (guitar) and percussion with Prof. George Tschernenko.
Next she graduated with a diploma at the University of Music in Detmold, Department of Münster under Prof. Wolfgang Weigel.
Nadja is really awesome person. She also shows great interest in science. She graduated with distinction at the Highly talented School of Mathematics and Physics in Kiev, studied at the National Polytechnic University of Kiev in the Department of Electrical Engineering and at the National Medical University in Kiev!
As a guitarist Nadja has won further prizes in 9 international competitions in the Ukraine, Poland, England and Spain. She got a scholarship in Academia Musicale Chigiana, Italy with Prof. Oscar Ghiglia and took masterclasses with greats such as Roberto Aussel, John William Duarte and Oscar Ghiglia.
