Legendary rockman, best known as the lead singer of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers died after suffering full cardiac arrest aged only 66. He was found unconscious and not breathing in his Malibu home Sunday night. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1999, for their contribution to the recording industry. Tom's main instrument was a sunburst 1964 Fender Stratocaster. He also used a number of Rickenbacker guitars.
