"The Heart Ask Pleasure First" composition is from the soundtrack composed by Michael Nyman for the 1993 New Zealand drama film "The Piano" about a mute piano player and her daughter. Starred by Holly Hunter, Harvey Keitel, Sam Neill, and Anna Paquin, "The Piano" was commercial success and won three Academy Awards for Best Actress(Holly Hunter), Best Supporting Actress (Anna Paquin) and for Best Original Screenplay. The film's score for the piano by Michael Nyman became a best-selling soundtrack album.
