Historical event took place at Buddy Guy's Legends blues club in Chicago on July 30, 1989. Stevie Ray Vaughan who died tragically a year later was a guest of Buddy Guy. Together they jammed over some blues tunes including "Champagne and Reefer" by Muddy Waters.

"Yeah bring me champagne when I'm thirsty.
Bring me reefer when I want to get high"

Hey thanks, a few years back I was on a bit torrent site downloading everything "stevie" and I got one that I swear when Buddy was intro'n stevie I thought I heard him say I want to introduce to you the best...it sounded like Buddy wanted to say: (guitar player I've ever meet) he went guh.guh, guy I've ever met. And I remember that show Steve sounded like he was Jimi Page on steroids way more distortion definitely out of his standard blues norm. Even the band was hesitating like going wtf! Just want to know if I was hearing things. Anybody else know what I'm talking about?
