Dedicated to the man with "The Voice". He would have been 100 years old today 12th December 2015.
A crooner that sang just the way I want to play the classical guitar: legato, smooth and melodic with an articulated voice.
Frank Sinatra had a way of making the words as important as the song itself. Including the silence, the outbursts and the sustained notes.
In this music I try to honor his way of singing.
Sheet music and tabs are available here: https://shop.per-olovkindgren.co ...

Coincidence or what?
Just today after dinner I watched several old videos of Frank Sinatra.
First time I've heard Sinatra was in the end of 1970's. I was teenager then, little bit different in music taste than most of my school friends, mainly listening to classical music and jazz. I even remember the first song of Frank I've heard then. This was "I`ve Got You Under My Skin". Loved it from first time. Remember the lyrics up today!
Today was mostly listening to his Christmas songs, loved his TV Show with Bing Crosby that later in the evening I showed to my friends.
Someone asked if Frank's still alive. And the other friend replied, "No way, he would be 100 years old now". He had no idea this is Frank's 100th birthday today!
Thanks for this sharing. I didn't know it too.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for sharing your memories! I was also listening to "Frankie boy" when my school mates were listening to, if not rock music, so ABBA. I guess we are almost the same age. I knew since 3 weeks back the 12th of December would be his 100th birthday so I planned to compose this piece for a long time. The title came to me when I herd him sing "New York, New York" and he did one of his crescendos with a sudden outburst. Brilliant!
Thanks for listening!
