Exceptional video of 2 great blues legends recorded live for television on December 6, 1983, at CHCH-TV studios in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Albert King was one of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar" (along with B.B. King and Freddie King). Shortly before 1983 session King didn't even know who Stevie Ray Vaughan is.
Unexpectedly Stevie Ray Vaughan passed away in 1990, 2 years before much older Albert King. SRV died in helicopter crash on August 27 after a show in Wisconsin.
A day before this tragic accident Vaughan told his band and crew members about a horrible nightmare in which he was at his own funeral and saw thousands of mourners. His death triggered real shock around the world.

The song that Albert and Stevie perform in video is "Pride And Joy" of course, an original composition by Vaughan that appeared on his 1983 ebut album Texas Flood.

Superb. What a talent SRV was. I believe he would be guitar #1 today if not this stupid crash in 1990.
