This was extremely popular song in the 1970s, written by English singer, songwriter and guitarist Cat Stevens, now know as Yusuf Islam.
The song was released on "Tea for the Tillerman" Steven's album in 1970. In 1995 boy band Boyzone covered "Father and Son" and peaked number two on the UK Singles Chart.
In 1977 Cat Stevens converted to Islam and disappeared from music business for almost 30 years.In 2006 he returned to music with his new albu, and in 2014 he began his first US tour after 30 years.
He also appeared for session at National Public Radio to sing few songs and famous "Father And Son" among.
