It's been 20 years since legendary blues singer and electric guitarist Albert Collins passed away (November 24, 1993).
Introduced to the guitar by his cousin, another legend Lightnin' Hopkins, Albert decided to become blues guitarist after hearing "Boogie Chillen'" by John Lee Hooker.
He was inspiration for many blues guitarists including brothers Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughn.
This recording is from Albert's performance at the Montreaux Jazz festival in 1992 only 1 year before he died.
