I Know My Version Is Faster Than Tommy's and it depends on my mood in which tempo I like to play it but I also think that a slower tempo expresses better the african feeling of the song.

A great guitar player plays & plays.....he never just practices......if it's not an original song, you take it, expand on it, embellish it, make it yours, and play it with your style the way it comes out through your mind and your fingers.
