The Wanton Song was developed during soundchecks on Led Zeppellin's 1973 United States tour. It's credited to Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. Song appeared on Zeppellin's sixth studio album "Physical Graffiti" (1975). Jimmy Page used his "backward echo" on the guitar solo.
Silent woman in the night, you came, Took my seed from my shaking frame.
Same old fire, another flame, And the wheel rolls on.
Silent woman through the flames, you come, From the deep behind the sun
Seems my nightmares, have just begun

Guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist/keyboard player John Paul Jones and drummer John Bonham and the most frighteningly exciting hard rock singer Robert Plant redefined the parameters of rock and become the biggest-selling band on the planet. Led Zeppelin's first six albums – from Led Zeppelin to Physical Graffiti – remain by some distance the greatest hard rock records ever made. The death of Bonham in 1980 marked the end of the band as a touring force. Jimmy Page was dabbling with heroin, and John Bonham was an alcoholic. When remaining members of Led Zeppelin agreed to re-umite for a one-off show in London's O2 in 2007 (with Bonham's son Jason on drums) there were 20 million applications for 20,000 tickets.
