George Bensoin recorded and peformed "Take Five" jazz standard many times. One of earlies recordings is one from Bensons's 1974 album "Bad Benson" released on CTI Records, on which he was accompanied by such jazz greats as Kenny Barron, Ron Carter, Steve Gadd and Don Sebeski.
Take Five was written by saxophonist Paul Desmond and originally recorded by the Dave Brubeck Quartet on its 1959 album Time Out. The tune became jazz standard and after 60 years it's still attractive to record and cover, often on guitar.
