"Fields of Gold" is a 1993 song by Sting from his album Ten Summoner's Tales. "Fields of Gold" and all the other album tracks were recorded at Lake House, Wiltshire, mixed at The Townhouse Studio, London, England and mastered at Masterdisk, New York City.
Wolfgang Vrecun made an arrangement for guitar solo trying not to copy Sting´s version of this song.

Hallo Wolfgang,
You posted this under "acoustic guitar" so I didn't find it until now. But I am glad I found it! What a beautiful arrangement! I have always loved String (I even heard him play Bach Cello Prelude BWV 1007 once!) and most of his songs are brilliant. So is this one and especially now with your arrangement!
Respect,
Peo

Dear Peo!
I had a problem with this song!
Everyone, really everyone is playing (arranging) this song.
But I love the melody so much. So I tried to do do honour to the melody and catching the irish atmosphere. Not easy - I think. And I am not sure about the result.
So your comment makes me happy. Thank you my dear friend!
CUSA and a big hug,
