Uriah Duffy

Uriah Duffy (born 31 July 1975, Wakefield, Rhode Island, USA) was named after ‘70s rockers Uriah Heep. He began playing the bass at the age of 8. Schooled in classic rock, he got familiar with more influences from Bela Flrek to Chick Corea playing in high school jazz bands.
In 1984 Uriah moved to California where he learned to groove and play professionally, playing all sorts of gigs from top 40 and disco to Bluegrass and Country.
Since 2005, Uriah has been a member of the English rock band Whitesnake.
After gigging with so many dynamic emerging musicians and backing up so many classic artists, Uriah appeared finally as an artist himself. His first band The Uriah Duffy Band, trades between smooth, soulful, jazz/funk/R&B sounds.
