Guitar In Bars is quite unique idea that was born in Australia as part of the Adelaide Guitar Festival in 2017. First edition of Guitars in Bars featured 555 artists across 160 events state-wide. Guitars in Bars is taking the Adelaide Guitar Festival to the usual and unusual venues, spaces and places across South Australia with a series of free and ticketed events.
The idea is to build connections and relationship between venues and artists. If you’re an artist seeking somewhere new to present your event or you are a venue seeking an event you can register your event for $25.00 per event per venue. You can enter multiple session dates and venues in the one event.
Registration includes promotion in the Guitars In Bars gig guide, an online listing through Adelaide Guitar Festival and assistance through marketing and publicity teams.
Charles Sturt Council will pay the registration fees for the first 50 events within their area!
Adelaide Casino is hosting the Guitars In Bars Battle of the Bands where artists can share in over $10k worth of cash and prizes.
