Irish rock band Thin Lizzy was formed in 1969 by singer/songwriter/bassist Phil Lynott and drummer Brian Downey. After a few early records the band with guitarists Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham, THin Lizzy released first noted album "Fighting" in 1975. Next album "Jailbreak" (1976) featured the worldwide hit "The Boys Are Back in Town". Thin Lizzy reached many peaks and influenced generations of musicians with classic tracks such as Jailbreak, The Boys Are Back In Town, Still In Love With You, Cold Sweat, Emerald and Don’t Believe A Word. In 1986 founding member Thin Lizzy frontman, Phil Lynott passed away at the age of thirty six. Thin Lizzy have been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
