Formed in Topeka, the capital of Kansas,1970 American progressive rock band Kansas established itself as one of America’s iconic of classic rock bands. The band has produced nine gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums, one platinum live album and two million-selling singles, "Dust in the Wind" and "Carry On Wayward Son". In 2015, Kansas celebrated its 40th anniversary. A reconstituted Kansas still tours worldwide, featuring classic Kansas lineup members Phil Ehart (percussion), Steve Walsh (vocals, keyboard), and Rich Williams (guitar).
