Founded in 1999, London based, Grammy-nominated extreme power metal band DragonForce is known for their long, complex and fast guitar solos performed by Herman Li and Sam Totman. Their platinum-selling record, "Through the Fire and Flames", brought them to international fame. Lead single was featured in video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Their fourth album, "Heroes of Our Time", was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009. Energetic DragonForce live performances have earned them fans on every continent. DragonForce have released eight studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, one live DVD.
