Eric Clapton announced the release of his 21st studio album "Old Sock". This will be his first album since 2010. The album is a collection of some of Clapton's favorite songs that highlights music and artists who have inspired Clapton most.
Musicians appearing on album apart of Clapton himself are Steve Gadd (drums), Willie Weeks (bass) and Chris Stainton (keyboards) with addition of some special guests on individual tracks, such as J.J. Cale, Chaka Khan, Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney and Jim Keltner.
Old Sock is released on Clapton s Bushbranch label and will be available in US and Canada stores from March 12, 2013.
