The “Koblenz International Guitar Festival“ undoubtedly is one of the top international
guitar festivals in the world. It has been attracting guitarists from through out the world since 1993. You can always hear there many of the finest guitarists of our time in concert and masterclass.
Total competition prize is more than 18,000 euro, and the winner gets 3000 euro cash, a concert in Carnegie Hall New York City, all travel/accommodation expenses provided by D‘Addario.

Parkening International Guitar Festival (2012-05-29 to 2012-06-02) in Malibu, California, USA.

The Parkening International Guitar Competition is one of the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world. Cash prizes is over $50,000 U.S. The Gold medal is honoured with The Jack Marshall Prize of US $30,000. The first Parkening International Guitar Competition was held at Pepperdine University in 2006.

International Competition for Young Guitarists «Andrés Segovia» (2012-06-06 to 2012-06-09) in Velbert, Germany

Guitar Competition organized since 2000 every two years in cooperation with the German section of the European Guitar Teachers Association (EGTA). The competition is held in 3 age groups. Five prizes are provided for each age group, ranging from 125 to 1000 €.
