Book of Shadows II is the tile of new Zakk Wylde's album to be released soon. 3 songs from the album "Sleeping Dogs," "Tears of December" and "Lost Prayer" are now available for download on iTunes, $ 1.29 each. Entire album is available to pre-order for $7.99.

First solo album by Zakk Wylde "Book of Shadows" was released in 20 years ago in 1996, and presented Zakk's different, mostly acoustic style of music.

Zakk just presented music video, directed by Justin Reich with song "Sleeping Dogs", 13th track from new album.

That was a really great song... The lyrics were of the best lyrics I have heard in a while... and the music was very powerful and moving... I so far like Zakk Wylde's acoustic music more than his metal stuff... His metal music is incredible, but it might be that I don't care that much for metal music in general, except for a lot of 70's metal and a few 80's... Ozzie comes to mind... Mr. Wylde always did have great lyrics though, so it's not surprising to me... It's funny because I have recently been listening to Blizzard of Oz & Diary of a Mad Man lately...lol... Mr. Crowley, Over the Mountain, & especially You Can't Kill Rock & Roll are very nostalgic to me, but also great when the nostalgia where's off... I would've loved to see an Ozzie concert back in the day with Zakk playing those great songs!!!
