PAT MARTINO who ranks among the premier players of his instrument guitar is also acclaimed composer and bandleader present on international jazz stage since the mid-1960s, recording for the Prestige, Muse, Warner Bros. and Blue Note labels.
Struck down by a life-threatening brain aneurysm he has lost memory and completely forgot how to play instrument after brain surgery in 1980. After remarkable recovery he resumed his career in 1987, playing a gigg in New York, later released on CD "Return".
Pat was not as active as before and didn't record again until 1994 when he recorded "Interchange" CD. In the following years Pat returned to his former glory as one of the greatest jazz guitar players of our times, recording and touring regularly all over the world!
