The song has been co-written by David Gilmour and his wife Polly based on a character from the novel "A Theatre For Dreamers." written by Polly Sampson and released on her new audiobook. The novel takes place among bohemian community of poets, painters, and musicians. The novel’s cast of characters includes a young Leonard Cohen.
