Number of international super stars and super bands appeared on stage including Brian May, Annie Lennox, Phil Collins, Tom Jones, The Corrs, Shirley Bassey, Bryan Adams, Queen, Tony Bennett, Cliff Richard, Ozzy Osbourne, Elton John, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney.
It couldn't also miss Eric Clapton, who performed his super hit song "LayLa" accompanied by Phil Collins on drums among other renown musicians.

My favorite version of Clapton's Layla ever. Phil Collins on drums; Ray Cooper, percussion; three great female backup vocalists and the best musicians available in the UK accompanying Clapton at a gala celebrating Queen Elizabeth' s Golden Jubilee. Folks handling the audio recording in the outdoor venue were fabulous!
