One of leading jazz guitarists mid 80's, Stanley Jordan and Kevin Eubanks known as a long-time leader and guitarist for The Tonight Show band recorded together new album "Duets", released in March, 2015 through Mack Avenue recording label.
Stanley Jordan is best known from his revolutionary two-handed tapping technique on the guitar fretboard. But he's also a pianist and recently we could see him playing both: piano and guitar simultaneously!
Kevin Eubanks played with Art Blakey, Roy Haynes, Slide Hampton, and Sam Rivers before starting to lead his own groups, including The Tonight Show band. He received an honorary doctorate degree from the Berklee College of Music.
Eubanks and Jordan have been friends for years before they decided to play and record together. All music from "Duets" album was recorded at Eubanks' home studio. Both artists are basically jazz guitarists, but also both can play piano as well.
