La Vie en Rose is famous song by French singer Édith Piaf, composed by Marguerite Monnot and Louis Guglielmi in 1945, with lyrics by Édith Piaf. The song first time was performed live in concert in 1946 and audiences loved it from this time. La Vie en Rose was the name of a nightclub/bordello in Paris where Édith Piaf performed. Piaf wrote more than 80 songs in her career, but La Vie en Rose became her trademark hit and in 1998 received a Grammy Hall of Fame Award.
