Julian Bream receives the Gramophone lifetime achievement award

Last year legendary classical guitarist Julian Bream was celebrating his 80 birthday on July 15. In September , same year he received the prestigious lifetime achievement award at the Gramophone awards and joined Claudio Abbado, Janet Baker, Alfred Brendel and André Previn who received it before him.

"The thing I feel a little annoyed about is that I know I'm a better musician than I was at 70, but I can't prove it."
